class=\"s5\">iniziative<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">che<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">trovano<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">nell\u2019immagine\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">fotografica<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">la<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">loro<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">finalit\u00e0,<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">il<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">loro<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">punto<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">d\u2019arrivo<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">diventando<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">opere<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">d\u2019arte.<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">Il<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">gesto<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">artistico\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">diventa<\/span> <span class=\"s5\">fotografia<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> e quindi<\/span><span class=\"s5\">,<\/span><span class=\"s5\"> se la performance \u00e8, di fatto, il fondamentale evento artistico, spetta alla fotografia, <\/span><span class=\"s5\">unica <\/span><span class=\"s5\">rappresentazione perpetua dell\u2019azione, il ruolo di opera d\u2019arte postuma.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s13\"><span class=\"s9\">\u00c8 evidente che la definizione di performance (\u00ab<\/span><span class=\"s10\">forma artistica <\/span><span class=\"s10\">\u2013 <\/span><span class=\"s9\">secondo <\/span><span class=\"s11\">Garzanti Linguistica<\/span><span class=\"s12\"> \u2013 <\/span><span class=\"s10\">che comprende l\u2019azione di una o pi\u00f9 persone\u00bb<\/span><span class=\"s9\">) <\/span><span class=\"s9\">lascia aperti spazi enormi per l\u2019individuazione del rapporto <\/span><span class=\"s9\">instaurato <\/span><span class=\"s9\">d<\/span><span class=\"s9\">a<\/span><span class=\"s9\">gli artisti con l\u2019immagine fotografica.<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> Tanto per dire, <\/span><span class=\"s9\">non sarebbe pensabile <\/span><span class=\"s9\">non considerare performativa la pantomima di <\/span><span class=\"s9\">Jean-Gaspard Baptiste Duburau, nelle vesti di Pierrot, immortalato<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> nel 1855 <\/span><span class=\"s9\">(ben prima degli anni Settanta del Novecento<\/span><span class=\"s9\">, e quindi prima della fotografia contemporanea<\/span><span class=\"s9\">) <\/span><span class=\"s9\">da <\/span><span class=\"s11\">Gaspard-Felix Tournachon detto Nadar<\/span><span class=\"s11\">.<\/span> <span class=\"s11\">Nondimeno<\/span><span class=\"s11\">, nell\u2019arte contemporanea<\/span><span class=\"s11\">,<\/span><span class=\"s11\"> la fotografia non \u00e8 <\/span><span class=\"s11\">e non <\/span><span class=\"s11\">pu\u00f2<\/span> <span class=\"s11\">essere <\/span><span class=\"s11\">l<\/span><span class=\"s11\">a semplice <\/span><span class=\"s11\">documentazione<\/span> <span class=\"s11\">del<\/span><span class=\"s11\">la<\/span> <span class=\"s9\">performance<\/span><span class=\"s9\">; <\/span><span class=\"s9\">lo scatto fotografico diventa\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s9\">piuttosto<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> una rappresentazione, <\/span><span class=\"s9\">un\u2019interpretazione, <\/span><span class=\"s9\">una lettura della <\/span><span class=\"s11\">pratica performativa, o, come direbbero i Francesi, un\u2019<\/span><em><span class=\"s11\">image-acte<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s11\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s13\"><span class=\"s11\">E per <\/span><span class=\"s9\">comprendere fino in fondo cosa s\u2019intende<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> per <\/span><span class=\"s9\">atto fotografico<\/span><span class=\"s11\">,<\/span><span class=\"s11\"> la Cotton propone <\/span><span class=\"s11\">l\u2019<\/span><span class=\"s11\">esempio <\/span><span class=\"s11\">del<\/span><span class=\"s11\">l\u2019opera di Zhang Huan, un artista concettuale e performer cinese<\/span><span class=\"s11\">,<\/span><span class=\"s11\"> nato ad <\/span><span class=\"s11\">Anyang nel 1965. <\/span><span class=\"s11\">Nella <\/span><span class=\"s9\">foto <\/span><em><span class=\"s10\">To Raise the Water Level in a Fishpond<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s10\">, 1997<\/span><span class=\"s9\">\u00a0(<\/span><em><span class=\"s10\">Alzare il livello dell&#8217;acqua in un laghetto<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s10\">, 1997<\/span><span class=\"s9\">) <\/span><span class=\"s9\">un gruppo di <\/span><span class=\"s9\">una quarantina di <\/span><span class=\"s9\">dissidenti pechinesi affiora<\/span><span class=\"s9\">, a petto nudo, <\/span><span class=\"s9\">dalle acque di uno stagno, a dimostrazione <\/span><span class=\"s9\">di come<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> un\u2019azione unitaria<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> sia<\/span> <span class=\"s9\">in grado<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> di alzare il livello dell\u2019acqua<\/span> <span class=\"s9\">e, di conseguenza, <\/span><span class=\"s9\">possa<\/span><span class=\"s9\"> anche sfidare un regime politico
