Particolarmente importanti due lavori che gli sono valsi due World Press Photo nel 2013 e nel 2018, rispettiva-mente \u201cMiRelLa\u201d e \u201cOmo Change\u201d. Da Omochange di Fausto Podavini<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Il 27 dicembre a Sutri, alle ore 16.30, terr\u00e0 una Talk e visita guidata a\u00a0&#8220;In the Middle of Black Christianity\u201d, \u00a0un\u00a0estratto del long-project realizzato nel Tigrai, nel nord dell\u2019Etiopia, ed esposto a &#8220;Pistis-Suggestioni di Fede&#8221; fino al 18 gennaio.<br \/>\nPodavini ci dona una testimonianza vicina e rispettosa di come la fede, tema scelto per la prima edzione del Festival, attraversi ogni giorno la vita, come un filo che tiene insieme i gesti pi\u00f9 semplici e i momenti di festa degli individui.<\/p>\n<p>Come ricorda Carmine De Paola nel testo di accompagnamento della mostra &#8220;Le fotografie di Fausto Podavini ci portano in un luogo dove la fede \u00e8 un gesto quotidiano. Non siamo davanti a un racconto di viaggio: c\u2019\u00e8 un cammino condiviso.\u00a0Le persone avanzano tra rocce e polvere, salgono, aspettano, cantano. L\u2019autore sta accanto: non invade. Ascolta. Diventa antropologica. La fotografia si prende spazi e tempi e come il Festival invita a fare in tutte le esposizioni, chiede rispetto, attesa. Non \u00e8 solo un invito a guardare, ma soprattutto ad accogliere. A lasciarci attraversare dalle immagini e dai loro racconti.\u00a0Siamo invitati a guardare con delicatezza. A cogliere tutte le sfaccettature, le pieghe di una umanit\u00e0 e di una religiosit\u00e0 vissuta, mostrata, restituita con rispetto.<br \/>\n&#8220;Certe verit\u00e0&#8221; &#8211; \u00a0continua Carmine De Paola &#8211; &#8220;non hanno bisogno di alzare la voce. Varanasi. In one of the yards of the Manikarnika Ghat, a transit point for the vendors and buyers of wood, a kid plays by jumping between the stacked timber. Manikarnika, or better known as Burning Ghat, is the main Ghat for the cremations that are done on the shore of the Ganga River. Inside the Ghat there are vendors of sais and amphora, barbers and many sellers of wood. The price per kilo of wood depends on the kind of wood. Sandalwood is the most fine and so than expensive.
