Nel 1991 discute la tesi di laurea in Sociologia,
\u201cMario Giacomelli e il gruppo Misa a Senigallia\u201d.<\/div>\n
Nel 1999 ottiene il primo premio al Concorso Canon Giovani Fotografi. Dal gennaio del 2000 \u00e8 uno dei fotografi dell\u2019agenzia Contrasto.<\/div>\n
Esordisce al cinema nel 2003 come sceneggiatore e regista del lungometraggio \u201cProva a Volare\u201d, con Riccardo Scamarcio, Ennio Fantastichini e Antonio Catania.<\/div>\n
Nel 2007 viene premiato al **World Press Photo** e vince il premio GRIN con la serie \u201cFedeli alla trib\u00f9\u201d.<\/div>\n
Realizza il docufilm \u201cMi ricordo Mario Giacomelli\u201d.<\/div>\n
Espone i suoi lavori a **Paris Photo**. Nel 2016 \u201cLe Donne Volanti\u201d sono in mostra a Palazzo Montecitorio, su invito della Presidente della Camera. Nel 2017 gli viene conferito il premio \u201cScanno dei fotografi\u201d. Nel 2018 presenta \u201cLa Liquidit\u00e0 del Movimento\u201d, mostra a Capri a cura di Denis Curti.<\/div>\n
Nel 2021 la FIAF gli attribuisce l\u2019onorificenza MFI, Maestro della Fotografia Italiana.<\/div>\n
Nel 2024 espone il lavoro \u201cGli Ultimi Contadini\u201d al Festival della Fotografia Italiana e nella mostra \u201cIl respiro della Terra\u201d, bipersonale con Christian Tasso, a cura di Alessia Locatelli.<\/div>\n
Nel 2025 presenta la personale \u201cLa Forma del Fuoco\u201d presso il Polo Museale di Ostra Vetere<\/div>\n\n
